Sticky: Treatment for Atopic Eczema

Posted by: admin  :  Category: czema remedies

Unfortunately, there is no cure for atopic eczema found yet. The only treatment that exists for atopic eczema is to control and ameliorate the symptoms for atopic eczema.

In cases of atopic eczema you can treat this condition at home. Some of the remedies for treating eczema at home can be found in pharmacies. Here are some of the eczema treatments that you can find. First there are emollients, which can help your skin to stay smooth and give it plenty of water, fighting against eczema. This is the most used eczema treatment. It is indicated that you use emollients even if you do not suffer from eczema. These creams, lotions and ointments that are used to treat eczema can pe applied directly on your skin. The best time to do that is after you have just had a bath or a shower. There are also eczema lotions that can be used when bathing.

The second most used atopic eczema treatment is with mild steroid creams. This type of eczema treatment is used because it can calm your skin very much and also suppress the body response to inflammation.

In case these eczema treatments do not have the expected response, there are other eczema treatments that your doctor can prescribe for you. Next on the list are strong steroid creams. This treatment for atopic eczema is only available with a prescription. Be very careful though not to keep the cream too long on your body, because it may thinner your skin. The best thing to do in this case, when using this kind of eczema prescription is to do regular check ups. In case of severe eczema, tablets of steroids are available. This kind of treatment for eczema is only used for a short period of time. Another severe eczema medication are immunosuppresants, which come in the form of tablets. However, this type of eczema treatment can have major

side effects, so it must not be taken for a long period of time. The best thing to do is consult your doctor and decide together with him/ her what eczema treatment is better for you.

Antibiotics are also another treatment for eczema, but only if the skin is infected. Because itching is a major problem when having an eczema, antihistamines are also prescribed. They do not make such a big difference in an eczema, but they can ease the itching and help you sleep better.

Sticky: Eczema Skin Symptoms: An Overview

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eczema cure

Eczema skin symptoms are most often described to be itchy, red, dry and irritated skin. If you are having moderate to severe symptoms, your skin will also be raw and inflamed to the extent of being crusty, scaly and bleeding with all that scratching. With exceptionally dry skin, you are more prone to itching. Unfortunately the more you scratch, the more you will introduce bacteria through your broken skin. This results in patches of skin oozing with clear fluid, or even blood.

Eczema is a skin disorder that can affect a baby right up to someone elderly. It is non contagious. No one will get eczema just by being in close contact with you. Some say that it is a condition that is hereditary. So if your parents have eczema, you are more likely to have this disorder.

Atopic eczema is the most common type of eczema . It inflicts about one out of every eight or nine children. Although the figures look alarming, the good news is that about three quarters of the young kids who develop the eczema skin symptoms outgrow their condition before their teens.

Most of these children also develop other allergy related disorders such as food allergies, allergy to dust, asthma or hay fever. These children will also suffer from dry skins for the rest of their lives. Children usually develop the skin disorder on their faces and also on their hands and legs. In many of these cases, the first signs of improvement usually show on their faces before being seen in other parts of their body.

Another type of eczema is known as varicose eczema. Eczema skin symptoms in this category usually start when you are in your thirties. Varicose eczema is often attributed to the poor blood circulation on your legs. For this condition, symptoms are in your ankles with a speckled look that is also sore and itchy.

Moisturizing is key to keeping your eczema skin symptoms under control. You need to make sure that your skin is sufficiently hydrated. This can be achieved through drinking enough water and also applying oils or lotion to your skin a few times a day.

There is no known cure for eczema currently. To treat eczema skin symptoms, doctors will usually recommend steroid creams and special emollients and/or or antibiotics for bacteria infection (if you have one) as well as anti-histamines (drugs to prevent itching).
There are also several natural alternative treatments for eczema that you can use to alleviate your skin symptoms. These natural treatments are worthwhile exploring as they can help reduce your reliance on drug medications for your skin.

Sticky: Could Arbonne For Eczema Be The Best Cure?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eczema treatments

As you probably already know eczema is a skin disease, as well as there are some ways of preventing this disease, there are many different ways to cure it too. Eczema is like a type of rash, it usually shows some of the same symptoms and it is treated some what the same.

First of all, if you discover why the disease started in the first place, you should try to stay as far away as possible from what might have caused it in the first place. With today’s technology, many different cures have been invented and are being used, as in everything else some of these cures work and others simply just do not do the trick.

Today, one of the methods used for curing this diseased is called Arbonne for Eczema. This is a medicine type of cure. Arbonne for eczema is some sort of cream that you must place over the infected area and leave it there for a few moments a day, this should eventually finish with the disease.

Since Arbonne for eczema is rather new, some people around the world are discussing on its real advantages and disadvantages. Like always, some people say that arbonne for eczema is the best treatment you will find in the world and that nothing else will cure it. Others believe and publicly say that arbonne for eczema is just another mischief and that it will just not cure the disease, but it will actually make it even worse.

There is some actual truth to arbonne for eczema and it is that it has been tried on people who have had this disease and it has gone away. The most logical explanation for people who say that arbonne for eczema does not work is that they sell other similar products and do not want this cure in the market.

Another logical explanation to whether arbonne for eczema works or not is that people have different skins and bodies and will obviously react differently to certain cures than others, and some may not even react at all to this cure, but this does not mean the cure does not work, it just means it does not work for your body.

Arbonne for eczema is just another cure for a disease, it has been proved to work on many cases of this disease and it should always be taken into consideration when looking for a cure for eczema.

Which is the fastest treatment for eczema, virgin coconut oil, apple cider or urine therapy?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

I’ve read from testimonials that all of them works. But I know that treating eczema cannot be done over night. So for those who’ve tried the above, which is the fastest? And which one can effectively relieve the itch?

Please suggest something else IF you’ve TRIED other natural remedies that worked.

Thanks.

Apple cider? No, gently acidifying your skin might kill off some bacteria, but it won’t help eczema.

Coconut oil? Certainly it’ll help moisturise your skin and might bring some relief.

Urine therapy? As in peeing on yourself? Come on! Urine is a waste product, would you seriously pee on yourself because of something you’ve read on some ridiculous website? Please, have a bit of perspective…

What can you do if you have Eczema?
If you have Eczema, what can you do? I only have the right hand with dry fingertips and the other hand is fine.

Eczema consists of patches of dry, itchy skin that is usually scaly to the touch and can be red and swollen. I have a son with that condition and he has to use a prescription medication called Elidel because none of the skin creams over the counter worked for him. I tried Eucerin, Lubriderm and lots of other creams. I do recommend using Cetaphil soap. It is made for sensitive skin and it seems to help him as well…

Good luck!

What is a great way to cure or even better, eliminate eczema in children around 18 months old?
What is great treat for eczema in children 18 months old?

With eczema, its important to keep the areas clean and moist with moisturizers. Use fragrance free and hypoallergenic products. Learn what your child’s triggers are and help them avoid those triggers.

Make sure that after their bath that you get them dried well by patting their skin dry rather than wiping so you don’t further irritate their skin.

I know Aveeno has baby products. The oatmeal in Aveeno is very soothing. My mom used to bathe me in baking soda baths but I’m not sure if I was that young when she started. You may want to ask a doctor or call something like First Nurse.

Make sure your child isn’t scratching it. Put gloves or socks on their hands and/or keep their nails cut short. I still have to cut my nails short in the winter otherwise I scratch while I’m sleeping.

I really don’t think there’s a cure for eczema. Although, some people who have it as kids grow out of it.
